The Veterans History Project
at the American Folklife Center in the Library
of Congress collects and preserves the personal recollections
of US wartime veterans-and homefront workers who supported
our armed forces-to honor their service and share their stories
with current and future generations. Submissions may take
the form of first-hand oral histories, memoirs, diaries, and
collections of photographs, letters, and other historical
documents from WWI through current conflicts.
Record the story of someone wo served, or share
your wartime story.
